Spokesman News Service: Chandigarh, November 10: The Government agencies and private millers have procured 135.08 LMT of Paddy in Punjab till November 9. Disclosing this here today, an official spokesman of the Government of Punjab informed that out of the total procurement from various procurement centres in the State, the Government agencies procured approximately 134.21 LMT of paddy while 86181 MT has been procured by the millers.
Giving the details, the spokesman said that PUNGRAIN has procured 46.49 LMT, MARKFED 31.11 LMT and PUNSUP procured 27.60 LMT while Punjab State Warehousing Corporation (PSWC) and Punjab Agro Foodgrains Corporation(PAFC) procured 12.88 LMT and 13.97 LMT paddy respectively. The Centre government agency FCI has procured 215330 MT paddy.
