Two persons, including a school teacher, were killed and one seriously injured in a road accident in Jalandhar district on Wednesday morning

Jalandhar: Two persons, including a school teacher, were killed and one seriously injured in a road accident in Jalandhar district on Wednesday morning. The accident took place when the gas tanker was on its way to Bathinda from Nakodar.

Suddenly, it lost control and crashed into a car carrying school teachers. The driver and the teacher were killed in the accident while the school principal was said to be injured.

PhotoAs soon as the information was received, the police rushed to the spot and took stock of the situation. The injured woman has been admitted to a nearby hospital in Jalandhar. Although the tanker was full of gas, a major accident could have occurred.

Police have informed the accident to Jalandhar DC Virender Kumar Sharma. Police said that the injured woman is out of danger. They said that the driver is also being questioned regarding this matter.
