AMRITSAR: The Border Security Force recovered heroin dumped by Pakistan from a border village in Amritsar district. According to the information shared by the BSF officials, this success has been achieved from Daoke border village of Amritsar at around 10 pm. The men of Battalion 22 were on night patrol. After witnessing the movement of the drone, the troops launched a search operation in the area. 

During a two-hour search, the BSF found an orange bag in the fields of Dauke village, which contained four packets of heroin. It was also fitted with a hook to drop it from the drone. Along with this, a torch was also sent by the smugglers. The total weight of the seized consignment was 1.590 kg. The international price of the heroin is said to be around Rs 10 crore.
