Giani Raghbir Singh Removed as Jathedaar latest news: In a major development, Giani Raghbir Singh has been removed as Jathedar by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC). The decision was taken at a meeting of the executive committee of the SGPC. SGPC member Kulwant Singh Puran informed the media that the services of Giani Raghbir Singh as Jathedar have been terminated. But he will remain the Head Granthi of Sri Darbar Sahib.

The move has caused a lot of debate among the Sikh community. Giani Raghbir Singh, who is a man of devotion and service, said he is not worried about the decision. He added that he was always prepared to serve as per the Guru's wish and will keep doing so in his role as Head Granthi.

The other step taken with this change also involved the deposition of Giani Sultan Singh from the Jathedar of Kesgarh Sahib post. He, along with him, will remain as the Head Granthi of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib.
