It is worth mentioning here that the Meteorological Department has predicted the possibility of less rain in Punjab, due to which additional electricity will be required. It is clear that if the rainfall in Punjab is less than normal then the paddy crop may be affected due to power shortage. Therefore, the Punjab government needs the support of the central government.
