School Bus Plunges into Drainage Channel, Children Safely Rescued, Latest News: A major accident was narrowly avoided near Hasti Wala village in Ferozepur when a school bus carrying around 20 children fell into a drainage channel. Fortunately, all children and the bus driver sustained only minor injuries and are reported to be safe.

The bus belonged to Guru Ramdas Public School, Armanpura, and the accident occurred while it was dropping off students. According to a report by Babushahi, the bus crashed into the railing of a bridge and then plunged into the drainage channel.

The children were rescued by passersby, who broke the bus windows to pull them out safely.

Preliminary reports suggest that the accident may have been caused by a loose wheel.

A concerned parent, Jaswinder Singh, alleged that despite repeated complaints to the school management about the poor condition of the buses, no action had been taken.

As of now, there has been no official statement issued by the school authorities.
