Punjab CM Bhagwant Maan on Tehsildar staging strike latest news today: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Maan on Tuesday conducted an inspection at Tehsil office in Kharar amid the ongoing strike by Tehsildars. During his inspection, CM Maan said they (the protesting Tehsildars) may go and that the government will hire more.
It came after Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Maan issued a stern warning to the agitating Tehsildars, also stating that while they can enjoy their holidays, the public will ultimately decide when and where they will be allowed to rejoin duty.
The Chief Minister has already given an ultimatum to the protesters to resume their duty by 5 pm or else they will be dismissed.
This comes in response to ongoing strikes by Tehsildars who are protesting against vigilance bureau.
He also announced that the agenda of recruitment of new Tehsildars would be tabled in the next Cabinet meeting.
CM Maan emphasized that the goverment is firmy against corruption and will not tolerate any disruptions to public services.
