NOC for property registration in Punjab, CM Bhagwant Mann Latest News Today: In a major development, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has fulfilled another promise of removing NOC requirement for property registration in the state.
Sharing the same, AAP Punjab said, "When a plot purchased with a lifetime of legitimate earnings is declared as part of an 'illegal' colony, only the affected family knows the hardships they face."
"To end these troubles, CM Bhagwant Mann promised to remove the NOC requirement in Feb 2024, which has been fulfilled today," the party added.
Likewise, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said, "Today, a significant relief has been provided to millions of people with the abolition of the NOC requirement for plot registration. Additionally, fines and penalties for those involved in creating illegal colonies have been made more stringent."
"People invest their lifetime savings into building their homes, but there are those who exploit and rob the hard-earned money of the poor. Such practices will no longer be tolerated," he said, adding "We stand by our promises and take action. What we say, we do..."
