Weather Update: Chandigarh Shrouded in Thick Fog; Cold Wave Grips Haryana, Punjab

In Haryana, biting cold dominated the day, with most regions reeling under its impact.

Punjab, Chandigarh and Haryana Weather Update Latest News Today: Chandigarh was enveloped in dense fog on Friday morning, with temperatures plunging to a chilly 6 degrees Celsius. The visibility dropped significantly, causing disruptions across the region. However, relief may soon arrive as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts a slight rise in temperatures due to an incoming western disturbance.

Haryana and Punjab remain in the clutches of severe cold, with daytime temperatures staying well below the seasonal average. Many areas in both states experienced reduced visibility during the early hours due to persistent fog.

Patiala was slightly warmer, though still chilly, with a maximum of 14 degrees Celsius.

Delhi’s Air Quality Worsens
