Punjab Ludhiana Petrol bomb Attack latest news today: In a shocking incident, three unidentified individuals allegedly hurled a petrol bomb at the home of Shiv Sena (Hind) leader Harjot Singh Khurana in Ludhiana's Model Town early Saturday. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, as confirmed by local police.
CCTV footage revealed three attackers on a motorcycle throwing a bottle with a flammable liquid at Khurana's residence. Initially, Khurana mistook the explosion for a Diwali firecracker, only to later find that a neighboring car had been damaged.
The incident follows a similar attack two weeks ago when a petrol bomb was thrown at the residence of Shiv Sena (Bharti) leader Yogesh Bakshi in Ludhiana’s Chandar Nagar area. Police investigating Khurana's case found glass shards scattered near his home.
Additional Police Commissioner Shubham Aggarwal assured that the culprits would be identified soon, though there has been no breakthrough yet in the investigation of the earlier attack on Bakshi’s home. Police are actively reviewing CCTV footage as they pursue both cases.
