Punjab vs Haryana Water Controversy Latest News Today: Amid rising tensions between Punjab and Haryana over the release of additional water, the Central Government has called a crucial meeting of the Chief Secretaries of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Rajasthan on May 2 in New Delhi.

The meeting, to be chaired by Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan, follows Punjab's opposition to the Bhakra Beas Management Board’s (BBMB) decision to release an extra 8,500 cusecs of water to Haryana.
