Punjab: 17-Year-Old Boy Killed by Friend Over iPhone 11, latest news: In a spine-chilling case, a 17-year-old boy, Navjot Singh, was found dead at a railway station in Punjab’s Patiala, with his body split into two parts.

Navjot had recently celebrated his birthday with his family and, a day later, told them he was going on a trip to Haridwar with friends. However, his parents later received a call from him, stating that he had not gone to Haridwar and was instead returning home.

Shortly after, the police received a report about a severed body found at a railway station. The body had multiple cut marks on the chest and was unidentified at the time.

A police official, as reported by NDTV, said that posters were circulated across the village to help identify the victim. On March 30, Harjinder Singh, who had been searching for his missing son, approached the police.

"We put up posters across the village to identify the body. Meanwhile, on March 30, Harjinder Singh, on the lookout for his son, approached us," the official said.

According to the police investigation, Navjot was murdered by his friend, Amanjot, over an iPhone 11. The stolen phone was later recovered from Amanjot.

Amanjot has since been arrested and produced before the Juvenile Justice Board.
