Bikram Majithia's Security Completely Withdrawn? Punjab Police Clarifies, latest news: The Punjab Police on Wednesday clarified reports claiming the complete withdrawal of security for Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Bikram Singh Majithia.
The police stated that his security has been reduced in size and, not entirely withdrawn, following a reassessment of the perceived threat.
"Security for any prominent individual is reviewed periodically based on threat assessment. Accordingly, it is either increased or decreased," Babushahi quoted an official spokesperson as saying.
