BJP expresses disagreement Kangana Ranaut's controversial remarks on farmers protest

Kangana Ranaut, claimed that during the height of the farmers' agitation, bodies were seen hanging and incidents of rape were reported.

BJP on Kangana Ranaut's Remark on Farmers' Protest: In a major development, the Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday expressed its disagreement with the party MP Kangana Ranaut's controversial remarks on the 2020 farmers' protest.

The BJP made it clear that Kangana Ranaut was neither permitted nor authorised to make statements on the party’s policy.

In a press statement issued by the Bharatiya Janata Party, the BJP clearly stated that Kangana Ranaut has been directed not to make such a statement in the future.

Notably, Kangana Ranaut claimed that during the height of the farmers' agitation, bodies were seen hanging and incidents of rape were reported.

She argued that had the Modi government not stepped in with a firm response, the situation could have spiraled into something much worse, possibly destabilizing the country in a manner comparable to the crisis that resulted in the formation of Bangladesh in 1971.
