SAD MLA Sukhwinder Kumar Sukhi Joins AAP: In a major setback to the Shiromani Akali Dal, SAD's MLA from Banga, Sukhwinder Kumar Sukhi, on Wednesday left the party and joined the Aam Aadmi Party in the presence of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
Sukhwinder Kumar Sukhi is an Indian politician who was a member of Shiromani Akali Dal but he has recently joined the Aam Aadmi Party. In 2017 and 2022, he was elected as a Member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly from the Banga Assembly constituency.
It may be recalled the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) had recently announced its two-time MLA Dr Sukhwinder Kumar Sukhi as its candidate for the Jalandhar Lok Sabha bypoll 2024. However, he couldn't manage to mark victory.
