What happened with a bridegroom yesterday is witty as well as funny. With all fanfare associated with a marriage in Punjab, a young boy took the marriage party to a village near Ludhiana. When he reached his in-laws house, he remained shivering. 

Perhaps he became too nervous. Unable to hold his nerves, he even continued to tremble when his would be wife came to greet him. But happened next made him more nervous. When girl saw that his would hubby is mentally too weak to even unable to hold his nervous during the most joyous moment in his life, she decided to call off the marriage. 

Boys parents invented many excuses to protect their child. But then and there she told her parents that she would not marry the boy who appears to be a case of nervous breakdown. Parents agreed and they told the bridegroom and his family members ' thank you" very much but from our side the marriage is off. 

But that is not the first time that the holy knot of marriage was broken before its formal solemnisation. 

NAGIN DANCE PROVED COSTLY FOR A BRIDEGROOM AT SHAHJAHANPUR

The popular nagin (snake) dance proved costlier for a bridegroom at Shahjahanpur when his bride refused to marry him. The groom started dancing like a nagin on the dance floor and immediately his bride refused to go along with him.

 A video went viral showing the bridegroom dancing madly on the dance floor at wedding venue. Just before he was to be formally welcomed by the bride's family, the groom's attention was drawn to a `nagin song' being played by the DJ. He began to dance as his friends showered currency notes on him. What made the bride to say no to the boy is still a mystery. Nagin dance is very popular in states like Uttar Pradesh. But the would be bride did not relish it.   

IMMEDIATELY AFTER WEDDING, BRIDE DUMPS BRIDEGROOM

In Kerala, a bride married her groom at Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple but marriage ended up after minutes when the bride dumped her bridegroom and walked off with her boyfriend. It was a shortest tie-up in the world. In this case, the bride decided to walk off with her boyfriend minutes after the wedding at the temple. 

 After the marriage, the bride spotted her boyfriend among the devotees standing around the place. In a little over a minute, she decided to walk off with him. The bride removed her mangal sutra and gave it to the bridegroom. The girl’s family paid Rs 8 lakh to the groom’s family as compensation to settle the matter. 

DELAY IN PAYING PARLOUR EXPENSE, BRIDE SAID NO TO BRIDEGROOM

 A bride in Agra refused to marry her bridegroom as he delayed the payment of her bridal makeup. However, the bride claimed, that after her friends saw the groom, they found him very aged.

 A bride in Bihar's Samastipur district refused to marry a dark complexioned bridegroom. The marriage party was shocked to hear the decision of the girl at wedding venue.
