Venkaiah Naidu is the Vice president of India and chairman of the Rajya Sabha as well has rejected the notice of opposition parties to remove Dipak Misra who is the Chief Justice. On 20th April, all the parties of Congress submitted a notice for removing the Chief Justice` Dipak Misra for his bad behavior. 64 members of parliament have signed the notice for the removal of Dipak Misra. 

After discussing the issue with legal and parliamentary experts, former Judge of Supreme Court and Attorney General, Venkaiah Naidu rejected the notice today. Soli Sorabjee (Former Attorney General) and Eminent Jurist welcome the decision of Venkaiah Naidu in rejecting the challenging notice against the Chief Justice Dipak Misra and also said that Dipak Misra has used his mind perfectly. The spokesperson of Congress Randeep Singh Sujrewala says that the chairman of Rajya Sabha can’t adjudge the motion as he has no command and administrative power to decide the merits of the motion. 

So, with the decision of Venkaiah Naidu, people of Rejecting Democracy and Rescuing Democracy stand in front of each other. Now, the Congress opposes the decision of Rajya Sabha chairman and probably moves the Supreme Court against this rejected notice. Subramanian Swamy who is a leader of BJP says that Venkaiah Naidu takes a very quick and right decision to reject the opposition motion. He also says that the notice should have been contemplating as an invalid notice and should be thrown out in the beginning and according to Subramanian Swamy has committed suicide by submitting the notice.
