New Delhi: The centre government has given additional charge of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to BJP Rajya Sabha MP Smriti Irani who is also holding the portfolio of Ministry of Textiles.

The union minister Venkaiah Naidu resigned from the post as he is going to contest the election of Vice-President.
