Valsad (Guj): Rs 1.14 crore belonging to the Regional Transport Office was looted at gun point at Bhilad town in Valsad district today morning when officials were taking the cash to a bank in a jeep for depositing it.

The jeep was intercepted by unidentified men who were in a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) at Bhilad Chowkri (circle), Valsad Superintendent of Police Sunil Joshi said.   "Five or six miscreants stepped out of the vehicle and took away a box containing over Rs 1 crore after threatening three officials inside the jeep with a gun," he said.
