
New Delhi: An alleged drug peddler, who
carried a reward of Rs 25,000, was arrested by a Crime Branch
team near the Dwarka court, police said today.
Dinesh Pal (32) was caught recently by the Crime Branch,
Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Alok Kumar said.
"He is a notorious drug peddler and was arrested earlier
also. He was carrying a cash reward of Rs 25,000 on his
arrest," he said.
"The reward was announced by the Commissioner of Police
in connection with a case registered with Crime Branch police
station," the officer said.
In November last year, Najafgarh resident Satbir was
arrested and 200 gram of heroin was seized from him. During
interrogation, he had disclosed the name of Pal as his
supplier, Kumar said.
