Accident kills three of family on way back from cremation

Badaun (UP): An SUV packed with people on their way back from a cremation was hit by a tractor-trolley in Ushait area, killing three people of a family and injuring six, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday night. Siyaram (60), Kalawati (32) and Veerwati (21) were killed on the spot, a police official said.

The injured were rushed to the hospital, where their condition is stated to be stable. No arrests have been made so far, the official said. PTI
