Operation Sindoor Debate Loksabha Latest News: Union Home Minister Amit Shah, in his address to the Lok Sabha on Tuesday regarding Operation Sindoor, condemned the Pahalgam terror attack and confirmed that three terrorists involved in the attack were neutralized during Operation Mahadev, yesterd.
Shah stated that all three terrorists were identified by individuals who had been detained earlier.
Speaking on Operation Sindoor, he said, “The innocent tourists were brutally killed in Pahalgam in front of their family members after being asked about their religion. I strongly condemn this heinous attack. I offer my heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in this brutal act.”
He further added, “In retaliation to Operation Sindoor, Pakistan fired upon our civilian areas. Several civilians were affected in this attack. Gurdwaras and temples were also destroyed. I extend my sympathies to all those affected.”
The Union Home Minister confirmed that in a joint Operation Mahadev, the Indian Army, CRPF, and Jammu & Kashmir Police successfully neutralized the three terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack.
“All three terrorists—Suleman, Afghan, and Jibran—were killed in yesterday’s operation. Those who had been supplying food to them were detained earlier. After the terrorists’ bodies were brought to Srinagar, they were identified by the individuals in custody,” Shah said.
“Suleman was an A-category commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba. Afghan was also an A-category Lashkar terrorist, and Jibran was similarly an A-grade terrorist. All three were responsible for the killings in the Baisaran Valley,” Shah added.
“These terrorists have been eliminated. They will not be able to break our spirit,” Shah further said.
