Bodies of Pakistani Nationals Found Near Indo-Pak Border Under Mysterious Circumstances
Bodies of Pakistani Nationals Found Near Indo-Pak Border latest News Updates: Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, June 28 – In a mysterious incident, the bodies of two Pakistani nationals were discovered near the India-Pakistan international border around 11 a.m. on Friday, police officials confirmed.
According to SP Sudhir Chaudhary, Jaisalmer, a local resident reported the sighting of the body of a young woman lying a few kilometers from the border. Senior police officials launched an investigation at the scene.
“Prima facie, the deceased appear to be a young man and a woman. Identification documents found on the woman are from Pakistan. A mobile phone with a Pakistani SIM card was also recovered,” said SP Chaudhary.
An empty water bottle was found next to the bodies, prompting speculation that the pair may have died of dehydration. However, SP Chaudhary noted that the exact cause of death will only be determined after a post-mortem examination.
“We are investigating from all possible angles. As of now, it is unclear whether the two had illegally entered India and were attempting to return to Pakistan, or had crossed over from Pakistan into Indian territory,” he said.
Chaudhary also mentioned that recent storms and rainfall in the area had washed away any footprints, and the condition of the bodies suggests they had been lying there for several days.
The identity documents, reportedly issued in 2023, are being verified for authenticity. The Border Security Force (BSF) and other concerned agencies are also conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
