Canada-Based Gangster Arshdeep Singh's Accomplices Detained; Alleged Plot to Kill Punjabi Singer Eli Mangat Unraveled

Delhi Police News: In a significant breakthrough, the Delhi Police apprehended five operatives associated with the notorious Arsh Dalla gang on Monday. The gang, led by Canada-based criminal Arshdeep Singh alias Arsh Dalla, is known for its links with the banned outfit Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF). The arrested individuals were allegedly plotting an attack on Punjabi singer Eli Mangat.

The arrested members have been identified as Rajpreet Singh, Virender Singh, Sachin Bhati, Arpit Dhankhar, and Sushil Pradhan. According to police officials, the arrest operation involved a brief encounter in Delhi's Mayur Vihar, during which Virender was shot in the leg. The police assert that the duo, Rajpreet and Virender, were planning to carry out an assassination targeting Punjabi singer Eli Mangat.

Upon their arrest, law enforcement recovered two revolvers, 13 cartridges, a hand grenade, and a stolen motorcycle from the apprehended individuals. An FIR has been lodged against them under charges of Attempt to Murder, the Explosive Substances Act, and the Arms Act.

Officials further revealed that, based on information provided by Rajpreet and Virender, three additional individuals who facilitated the gang's logistics, Sachin Bhati, Arpit Dhankhar, and Sushil Pradhan have also been taken into custody. The arrests come in the wake of intelligence indicating that Arshdeep Singh, the alleged mastermind, was planning major terrorist attacks and targeted killings in the Delhi-NCR region.
