First shock of magnitude 3.3 was felt at 5:15 pm: District Disaster Cell Chief

Palghar: Light tremors of 3.3-3.5 magnitude earthquake were felt in Maharashtra's Palghar district on Saturday. An officer gave this information. District Disaster Cell chief Vivekananda Kadam said that the first shock of magnitude 3.3 was felt at 5:15 pm, while the second shock of magnitude 3.5 was felt at 5:28 pm.

He said that the earthquake shocks were felt at a depth of eight kilometers and five kilometers respectively in Talasari area of the district. The official said that so far there is no report of any loss of life or damage due to the earthquake.
