An earthquake of magnitude 5.9 jolted Faizabad in Afghanistan
New Delhi: Earthquake tremors have been felt in various states of the country after a powerful quake jolted Pakistan. The mild shocks have been felt in Punjab-Haryana, Chandigarh and Jammu.
Reportedly, The epicenter of the earthquake is being said to be in Tajikistan, some part of Pakistan and Faizabad in Afghanistan. An earthquake of magnitude 5.9 has jolted Faizabad.
An Earthquake of 5.9 magnitude strikes southeast of Afghanistan at 10.19 am in 70 km, the tremors of which were also felt in Srinagar and Poonch of Jammu and Kashmir. Due to the low intensity of the earthquake, no loss of life or property has been reported in any state. However, as soon as the shocks of the earthquake were felt in Afghanistan, people came out of their homes in panic.
