Bank Holidays in March 2024: As the month of February ends, March is here. The third month of the year in both the Julian and Gregorian calendars. Its duration is 31 days. As usual, this month has been included in the holiday calendar of the Reserve Bank of India.
According to this, banks will remain closed for 14 days in various states and districts across the country in the month of March.
Bank holiday on March 2024:
• March 1, 2024 (Friday): Banks will remain closed in Mizoram due to Chapchar Kut.
• March 7, 2024 (Sunday): Both private and public banks will remain closed across the country.
• March 8, 2024 (Friday): Banks will remain closed in various states on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri.
• March 9, 2024 (Second Saturday): Banks will remain closed as it is the second Saturday.
• March 10, 2024 (Sunday): Both private and public banks will remain closed across the country.
• March 17, 2023 (Sunday): Both private and public banks will remain closed across the country.
• March 22, 2024 (Friday): Banks will remain closed in Bihar on the occasion of Bihar Diwas.
• March 23, 2024 (Saturday): On the occasion of Bhagat Singh Martyrdom Day, there will be banks in many towns.
• March 24, 2024 (Sunday) Banks will remain closed in many states due to Holika Dahan.
• March 25, 2024 (Monday): Declared holiday on the occasion of Holi.
• March 26, 2024 (Tuesday): Banks will remain closed in Mizoram due to Yaosag, a popular festival of Manipur.
• March 29, 2024 (Thursday): On the occasion of Maundi Thursday, banks will remain limited in the affected states.
• March 29, 2024 (Friday): Banks will remain closed in many states due to Good Friday.
• March 31, 2024 (Sunday): Limited holidays in banks

When the bank is closed, online banking services will remain active which customers can use. Online banking will allow one to access their bank accounts at any time and perform various transactions.
