TDP members in the Lok Sabha today once again raised the issue of special category status for Andhra Pradesh. They, however, did not troop into the Well and raised slogans from their benches. Wearing yellow stoles, they raised slogans like "we want justice". One of them was dressed up like a royal, wearing a turban and traditional attire. When Railway Minister Piyush Goal was responding to a question on 'model railway stations', they sought his attention on their demand for a railway zone in the state.

Goyal told the Speaker that he would respond to the issue provided they took their seats. But the Speaker then took up another question and Telecom Minister Manoj Sinha started his reply. The TDP had earlier moved a no confidence motion against the government on the issue of special category status for AP.
