Self-Styled Punjab Pastor Bajinder Singh Appears in Mohali Court Amid Sexual Harassment and Rape Allegations, Latest news: Self-styled Punjab pastor, Bajinder Singh, has made a court appearance at the Mohali District Court in connection with serious allegations of sexual harassment and rape. The case stems from an accusation by a woman from Zirakpur who accused Singh of sexual assault in 2018.
Singh, who was arrested at the Delhi airport in 2018, is currently out on bail. His recent appearance in court comes after non-bailable warrants (NBWs) were issued against him on March 3, 2025. The arrest warrants followed his failure to comply with previous court proceedings.
In addition to Bajinder Singh, several of his aides have been named in the case. Jatinder, Akbar Ali, Sitar Ali, Sucha Singh, Rajesh Chaudhary, and Sandeep Pehlwan are all named in the FIR, which was filed at the Zirakpur police station. The charges against them include Sections 376 (rape), 420 (cheating), 354 (outraging modesty of woman), 294 (obscenity), 323 (causing hurt), 506 (criminal intimidation), and Section 67 (transmitting sexually explicit content) of the Information Technology (IT) Act.
