Odisha’s BJD Leader Naveen Patnaik Surgery news: BJD president and Leader of Opposition in the Odisha Assembly, Naveen Patnaik, underwent successful surgery for cervical arthritis at a private hospital in Mumbai on Sunday.

His physician, Dr. Ramakanta Panda, informed that the surgery was successful and that Patnaik is recovering well.

Speaking to ANI, Dr. Panda said, "The surgery was successful. He has been kept under observation today. He is conscious and speaking with everyone. He is expected to be discharged in the next 5–6 days."

According to a PTI report, a large number of Patnaik’s well-wishers gathered at various temples across the state to offer prayers for his speedy recovery.

Supporters and party workers of the regional outfit offered dipa dana (lighting of earthen lamps) and puja (worship) at the Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar, seeking divine blessings for their leader's health.
