The Meteorological Centre in Srinagar has forecast heavy snowfall in several districts of jammu and kashmir.
Weather: As winter peaks, high-altitude regions in the Himalayas are being transformed into a winter paradise following fresh snowfall, much to the delight of tourists travelling to hill stations for Christmas celebrations and to escape Delhi NCR’s toxic air.
A fresh spell of snowfall was witnessed at Rohtang Pass and the Atal Tunnel in Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu district on Sunday, with tourists visiting the spots enjoying the weather and scenic views.
The Meteorological Centre in Shimla has issued a warning of strong surface winds in Kinnaur, Lahaul and Spiti districts.

Meanwhile, in Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir, a fresh snowfall blanketed the entire region on Sunday, drawing visitors to enjoy the scenic views, chilly weather, and wintry ambience.

Heavy rainfall has been predicted in Muzaffarabad.
