85-Year-Old Military Veteran Missing Since June 12, Family Appeals for Help
Zirakpur, July 20 – An 85-year-old retired military veteran, Sh. Navin Chander Upadhyay, has been missing since June 12, 2025. He was last seen at Singhpura Bus Stand in Zirakpur while on his way to his home in Delhi.
According to family sources, Upadhyay may be suffering from temporary memory loss, possibly triggered by recent trauma. He was reportedly robbed at Chandigarh’s Sector 43 ISBT, losing his money, identification documents, and mobile phone — leaving him without any means of communication or support.
Sh. Navin Chander Upadhyay is described as wheatish in complexion, 5 feet 7 inches tall, and has a distinctive mole between his eyebrows. The family is extremely concerned for his safety and well-being, especially given his age and possible disorientation.
The family is urging the public to come forward with any information about his whereabouts.
Anyone who may have seen him or has any relevant information is requested to contact the nearest police station.
