Fifteen people were arrested today for allegedly smuggling livestock here, police said. Some local youths stopped six trucks this morning on the KGP expressway here and informed the police, Station House Officer, Sadar, Devendra Singh said. He said 147 animals were rescued from four of the six trucks. It is suspected that they were being taken to an abattoir. The matter is being investigated, the officer said.
