In the video, the couple is seen joyfully pouring a mix of silver and golden 'sikkas' from a reddish piece of cloth onto the shopkeeper’s table, with a broad smile on Nivrutti Shinde’s face.

Baba's story : A local Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar medical store owner, while speaking to ANI, shed more light on Baba's story (Nivrutti Shinde). According to him, the elderly beggar is around 95 years old and has a son who had taken a loan, due to which they had to come to Aurangabad.

Srinivas, the medical store owner, stated, “You will be shocked to hear Baba’s story (Nivrutti Shinde). He begs for money outside the Gajanan Maharaj temple. Every day, he stands at the traffic signal in the scorching sun and pouring rain, collecting loose change, and then gets it converted into currency notes—often from me as well. He is around 95 years old. Begging at the signal or sleeping outside the temple is risky... yet he has saved every penny for his wife.”

He further added that the government should help him with proper accommodation.

“He also has a son who works as a labourer. His son had taken a loan, because of which they had to move to Aurangabad. But Baba is old—he can’t work anymore. Once, even his money was stolen. The government should help him get a safe place to stay.”
