The 3 Accused were acting on the orders of Anmol Bishnoi: Police 

JAIPUR: After an Encounter with the police in Rajasthan's Ganganagar, three members of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's gang were arrested last evening. According to the police, the gang was trying to extort money from a businessman. Anmol Bishnoi, brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, threatened the businessman over the phone before sending two of his assistants to their house, police said.

Last month, police formed teams to track down three members of the gang, all believed to be residents of Punjab's Fazilka district. However, investigations revealed that the criminals were hiding in Ganganagar, Rajasthan, bordering Punjab.

An encounter ensued when a police team arrived in the city to hunt down the gang members. A criminal opened fire on the police and was shot in the leg in retaliation. The encounter ended with three criminals being taken into police custody, one of whom is undergoing treatment at a government hospital. According to the police, these three were acting on the orders of Anmol Bishnoi.
