Collective Spirit of India stands beside Manipur's People: PM Modi

NEW-DELHI: Marking the 76th anniversary of India's independence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered his heartfelt address from the iconic Red Fort. His 10th speech from this historic venue was characterized by a message of solidarity and progress, where he invoked the spirit of familial togetherness that binds the nation as one.

In a poignant opening, Prime Minister Modi turned his attention towards Manipur, a state that has grappled with violence and unrest for several months. Expressing optimism, he shared, "There was a period of turmoil in Manipur, where precious lives were lost and the dignity of mothers and daughters was compromised. However, we now witness a consistent stream of news reporting peace emerging from the region."
