Prime Minister was greeted by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh 

NEW-DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi graced the Red Fort with his presence on Tuesday morning to mark the 76th Independence Day celebration. With unwavering dedication, he unfurled the tricolor for the remarkable 10th consecutive time against the historic backdrop of the fort. The ceremony was further amplified by a ceremonial 21-gun salute that echoed the nation's respect and reverence.

Upon his arrival at the Red Fort, the Prime Minister was greeted by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and the Chiefs of the three armed forces. Their warm reception set the tone for the eventful day, as the nation came together to honor its heritage and progress. As tradition dictates, Prime Minister Modi conducted an inspection of the Salute Guard, acknowledging the valiant soldiers who stand at the forefront of safeguarding the nation's sovereignty.

The subsequent moments carried a sense of camaraderie and unity as Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, along with Minister of State for Defense Ajay Bhatt, Chief of Defense Staff General Anil Chauhan, Army Chief General Manoj Pandey, Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar, and Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhary, extended their warm welcomes. With the tricolor billowing majestically above, two advanced light helicopters Mark-III Dhruva of the Indian Air Force executed a graceful flower shower, adding a touch of spectacle to the proceedings.

Notably, The Red Fort, a monument resonating with historical significance, witnessed yet another chapter of India's march towards progress under his leadership. As the nation celebrated its hard-fought freedom and resilience, the Prime Minister's address to the nation was highly anticipated, expected to encapsulate the spirit of the occasion and outline the path ahead.
