Haryana Suspends Internet Services in Ambala as Farmers Prepare for Third Delhi March

The suspension of internet services has added another layer of complexity to the situation.

Farmers Delhi Chalo Protest March in Shambhu Border Latest News Today: In a bid to control the escalating situation, the Haryana government has suspended internet services in parts of Ambala as a third batch of 101 farmers prepares to march towards Delhi. This comes after the previous two batches were stopped at the Shambhu border, leading to heightened tensions in the region.

The farmers, steadfast in their demands for legal guarantees on Minimum Support Price (MSP) and other agricultural reforms, have vowed to continue their march despite the government’s measures. The third group is expected to depart today at noon, determined to press forward where others have been obstructed.

The suspension of internet services has added another layer of complexity to the situation. While officials cite "maintaining public order" as the reason, the move has drawn sharp criticism from farmers and their supporters, who see it as an attempt to suppress their movement and disrupt communication.

“The government can try to silence us, but we will not back down,” said a farmer leader at the Shambhu border. “We are marching for our rights and the future of agriculture in this country.”

The ongoing standoff has also prompted criticism from opposition leaders and civil society groups, who accuse the Haryana government of escalating the conflict rather than engaging in dialogue with the protesting farmers.

Meanwhile, security at the Shambhu border has been intensified, with barricades and additional police forces deployed to prevent farmers from crossing into Delhi.

As the march continues, the farmers’ determination remains unwavering, with leaders calling on supporters to join them in large numbers. The situation at Ambala and the Shambhu border is being closely watched, as tensions between the farmers and the government show no signs of abating.
