Haryana Police fired tear gas shells from drone for the first time

Farmers protest 2024 update: Farmers from North India have been steadfast in their determination to march towards Delhi, demanding a legal guarantee for the minimum support price (MSP) and other demands.

Farmers have been adamant on going to Delhi for 2 days. These people are standing on the Punjab and Haryana border points. They are demanding to make MSP a law. At present, the police and administration have increased vigil in Delhi and surrounding areas. Delhi border has been sealed while the border points in Punjab and Haryana are also blocked. On one hand, the government is trying to stop them, on the other hand, farmers are fighting them with unique weapons.

To stop the farmers, Haryana Police fired tear gas shells from drone for the first time. Haryana Police has become the first police in the country to do so. Farmers have found a solution to these drones. They are trying to entangle the propellers or wings of the drone by flying kites with long strings. If this happens, the drone will fall out of control.

The move is the latest in a string of strategies that farmers are taking to counter the government's tear gas attacks. Earlier, farmers had tried to break the barricades using tractors and protect themselves with water cannons.
