Asad and Ghulam Mohammad were killed in Cross Firing: Police
LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh STF has killed Asad, son of mafia Atiq Ahmed and shooter Ghulam Mohammad in an encounter. According to STF sources, both were killed in an encounter in Jhansi. UP Police was tracking Asad after he escaped from Delhi. Cops found his location in Jhansi on Thursday and initiated probe.
The STF said that Asad and Ghulam Mohammad were killed in the cross firing. STF DIG Anant Dev Tiwari said that our team has killed Asad and Maqsood. Pistols, revolvers and foreign weapons have been recovered from them.
In the case of Umesh Pal's murder in Prayagraj on February 24, UP Police has conducted 4 encounters so far. Before this, Atiq Ahmed's statement come to the fore yesterday.
