PM Modi has shared the pictures of the House

NEW-DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday (April 12) met CR Kesavan, great-grandson of the famous freedom fighter and last Governor General of India C. Rajagopalachari in Delhi. After this meeting, he shared a heart-touching letter on the social media platform which was from BJP leader's cook N Subbulakshmi. She has written to PM Modi as a beneficiary of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

PM Modi has shared the pictures of the house and also dropped the letter which he has received. In this regard, he has said that Subbulakshmi, a resident of Madurai, Tamil Nadu, has built a house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, which has brought dignity to her life. Kesavan, who has been in the Congress, has joined the BJP on Saturday itself.

Sharing the letter on Twitter, PM Modi said, "Today I met CR Kesavan who shared a very touching letter from N Subbulakshmi ji. She works as a cook in his house. N. Subbulakshmiji faced several challenges including financial problems. She successfully applied for a house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

In her letter, N Subbulakshmi ji also shared that this is her first house and it brings honor and dignity to her life. She also sent pictures of her house and along she also gave blessings and extended gratitude to the Prime Minister. PM Modi wrote, "These blessings are the source of great power."

Talking more about the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, he said, “Like N Subbulakshmi, there are countless people whose lives have been transformed by the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. A house has brought a qualitative difference in their lives. The scheme has also been at the forefront in initiating women empowerment."
