The airline stated that Rani possessed a valid airport entry pass issued by BCAS and accused Prasad of using inappropriate language and making unwelcome advances towards her during the confrontation. SpiceJet has taken immediate legal action against Prasad for sexual harassment and has involved local police in the matter.

In response, CISF officials have countered these claims, stating that Rani was required to undergo mandatory screening but became agitated when no female CISF personnel were available for the process. This led to the alleged assault on Prasad and subsequent legal repercussions for Rani.

The incident has drawn significant attention, amplified by the viral spread of video footage capturing part of the altercation. It highlights broader issues concerning security protocols at airports and workplace behavior, as well as legal complexities surrounding allegations of misconduct and assault.
