The meeting is scheduled for 4:30 pm on Tuesday (October 09) at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium and aims to honor the athletes for their outstanding accomplishments on the international stage. The announcement was made through an official statement from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).

India's remarkable display at the Hangzhou Asian Games saw them clinch a record-breaking 107 medals, including an impressive haul of 28 gold medals, securing a historic fourth-place finish overall.
