Amritpal Singh faces fresh allegations as the police claim new revelations have emerged in the case.
UAPA Imposed on Amritpal Singh Following NSA Detention: In a significant development, the Faridkot Police has invoked the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) against Khadoor Sahib MP and Waris Punjab De leader Amritpal Singh. The charges are linked to the murder case of Jaspreet Singh Hari Nau, who was killed on October 10 last year.
Amritpal Singh, currently detained in Assam's Dibrugarh Jail under the National Security Act (NSA), faces fresh allegations as the police claim new revelations have emerged in the case.
Notably, Gangster Arsh Dalla is also an accused in the murder, further complicating the investigation. Authorities have not disclosed specific details about the new evidence but stated that the UAPA was imposed to address the seriousness of the case.
The imposition of both the NSA and UAPA against Amritpal Singh underscores the escalating legal and political scrutiny surrounding the controversial leader. The police continue to investigate the case as calls for transparency and justice grow louder from various quarters.
