BJP government will investigate corruption in Delhi using a special investigative team latest news: New Delhi, 08 February 2025 - After a historic win in the assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is poised to keep its promises to the citizens of Delhi. To address problems, the newly elected government intends to form the Special Investigation Team (SIT) which will deal with heels corrupt activities that took place during other Aam Admi Party (AAP) government’s tenure. This news was made public during a celebration by Parvesh Verma, a very popular BJP leader, and his supporters on Saturday. 

As per the ANI report, Verma ensured the party's promises were fulfilled after beating previous Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by slightly over 4000 votes in his constituency New Delhi. In response to meager numbers on set expectation, “The party leadership will take a decision on the Chief Minister in consultation with party MLAs. The party's decision will be acceptable to everyone," said Verma while addressing assumption surrounding his coverage as a CMO Candidate.

Verma attributed the victory to the leadership of Prime Minister Modi while simultaneously expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support.
