Amid this, a claim regarding the defeat of Aam Aadmi Party leader Chahat Pandey in this election is going viral on social media. According to the claim, Aam Aadmi Party leader from Damoh, Madhya Pradesh, TV actor Chahat Pandey got only 89 votes while Chahat's Instagram account followers are more than 12 lakh.

Spokesman in his investigation found the viral post to be misleading. Chahat Pandey got 2292 votes in total.
