Regarding municipal elections, CM Khattar noted that the tenure of the municipal body is nearing its end and that the delimitation process is underway in many areas. The decision regarding whether the elections will be held jointly or separately will be made in due course.

On the contentious issue of the Sutlej Yamuna Link (SYL) canal, CM Manohar Lal Khattar urged Punjab to reconsider its stance. He suggested that Punjab should heed the Supreme Court's decision on the matter and work towards a resolution.
