Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Travels in General Coach Latest news: Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare and Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, interacted with passengers in the general compartment of the Punjab Mail Express on Sunday while travelling from Bhopal to Ganj Basoda.
Speaking to the ANI, during his journey, Chouhan emphasized the importance of staying connected with the public.
"Every public representative should be general. We are not special, we are common. I wanted to sit in the general coach, but there was no space. There is a need for more general coaches. Only by going among the common people can we understand their problems," he said.
He further added,"That is why I decided to travel with my brothers and sisters by train — to experience their daily challenges firsthand. This was an effort to better understand their problems."
