SAHARANPUR: Dalit and Muslim communities clashed with sticks over a collision between two bikes in Saharanpur city of Uttar Pradesh. About 7 people were seriously injured. On receiving the information, the police admitted the injured to the hospital. The police have also registered a case against the people of the Muslim community under the SC-ST Act.

On Sunday evening, two parties clashed with each other in village Khujnawar and village Majri of Fatehpur police station. Argument started between the two groups after a Dalit boy bike collided with Muslim's bike. The matter escalated to such an extent that the people started fighting with sticks-rods. As per the reports, five persons from the Dalit side and two from the Muslim side have sustained injuries.
