according to the report, speaking at a press conference in Chandigarh, Bains explained that the expo aims to foster funding, incubation, and industry partnerships for scalable student ventures while encouraging school-based entrepreneurship. Around 40 teams will present their products, with 18,492 business ideas developed by students.

The government has provided Rs 16,000 seed funding to over 7,000 teams to help launch their business ideas under the guidance of teachers and mentors. The expo’s goal is to connect students with market opportunities and real customers to generate revenue and profit.

Bains highlighted successful student ventures, such as a team from Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Roopnagar, selling resin-based coasters, keychains, and candle molds. Other projects include a rechargeable electric bicycle from Government Senior Secondary School, Pathankot, a herbal shampoo from Bathinda, a self-defense stick with LED and shock points from Ferozepur, and preservative-free chocolates from Moga, which have already earned over Rs 4,000 in profit.
